The eve before Thanksgiving

It's the day before Thanksgiving and I am down in beautiful Portland with Katey's family. We drove down late last night and while everyone in the car was sleeping, I was enjoying the open road (we got down here so fast that Katey asked me if I drove like Knight Rider). I have decided that late night driving, when there's no traffic, is the best! Well only with some sunflower seeds and good music. As I drove, I was reflecting on all the blessings in my life that I am thankful for. All I can say is "I am Blessed".

Tomorrow I will be surrounded by family, tables full of food, football, and endless hours of card games. What more could someone ask for then to be with the ones he loves. Sadly there are many that aren't bless in this way. There are many that won't even have a bite to eat. Let's not forget them!

I want to share this video with you in hopes that for a moment in this season we take time to think of those with nothing.

The Cho's are great friends of mine and I am so encouraged by what they are doing. This coming year I am going to be partnering with them and One Days Wages to do my small part to give and help fight global poverty.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
